📅 On August 26, 2025, at 9:00 AM, the Special Lecture & Technology Showcase titled "Advancing DNA Sequencing and Silkworm Breeding Innovations" was held at the conference room and laboratory of the Walai Rukhavej Research Institute, Mahasarakham University. The event was well attended by researchers, faculty members, and students.
🎓 The program featured two key special lectures:
1️⃣ Evolution of DNA Sequencing – From Sanger to BITSeq, FastNGS, and All Sequencing Services
This session presented the advancements and applications of modern genetic base sequencing technologies.
2️⃣ The Mechanism of Silkworm Resistant to BmNPV and Breeding
This lecture shared insights into disease resistance mechanisms and strategies for silkworm breeding.
🎙️ The opening ceremony was honored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Issara Thanee, Deputy Director for Administration of the Walai Rukhavej Research Institute, who welcomed the distinguished speakers.
