Mahasarakham University (MSU) organise events aimed to promote conservation and sustainable utilisation of the land, including forests and wild land on campus. The following budget and policy will be implemented by Mahasarakham University (MSU) in 2023 to support the initiatives of sustainable land utilization at Walai Rukhavej Botanical Research Institute (WRBRI) :
I. The project of land development for organic rice, herb, and crop production at WRBRI is carried out by MSU in collaboration with the Earth Safe Foundation for the sustainable use of the land (started 2021-present)
II. On May 29, 2023, in WRBRI, MSU organized International Day of Biological Diversity 2023 and an exhibition of the Royal Initiation of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (RSPG) project. Khok Dong Kheng forest at WRBRI. These occasions included exhibits and activities that increased the awareness of locals and primary school students. There are 100 participants in these competitions.
