In 2021-2023, Mahasarakham university, WRBRI collaborate with Koeng Sub-district community at Kut Deang oxbow lake on water security. We expand the area of fish conservation zone and aquatic weed management on the Kut Deang oxbow lake, the Chi river basin base on watershed management strategy in Koeng Sub-district. Mahasarakham Province.
on 23 June 2022, We cooperate with Mahasarakham provincial office and Koeng subdistrict administrative organization in beautiful canal project with clear water and Thailand’s National Canal Conservation Day. We implement to alien species impact reduction in these days. We provide vegetable seedlings and organic fertilizer to community households to reduce the impact of chemical fertilizer contaminate in water and oxbow lake and adjust to community’s vegetable crops on an organic crop, around the Kut Daeng oxbow lake.
