In 2022 -2023, Mahasarakham university, WRBRI collaborate with village. Ban Koeng research station, Walairukhavij Research Institute’ staff to Monitoring the fish species and updated the check list of fish at Kut Daeng oxbow lake. To investigation the species diversity of fish by trawling at all 3 stations. We found 33 species of fish, the most common family being. Cyprinidae, Osphronemidae, Bagridae, Notopterus, Pristolepididae, Belonidae, Siluridae, Botiidae, Ambassidae, and Mastacembelidae, respectively
