The Wang Pla Project is under 8 provinces: Chiang Rai, Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani. The project implemented and continue to 2019-present.

In 2022, the project visits the local network and follow up operations activity of The Wang Pla Project (fish conservation zone) by local community in Bueng Kan and Mukdahan provinces. The project educates to the fisherman to raise awareness about overfishing, illegal and unregulated fishing and destructive fishing practices in out of boundary fish conservation zone in the Mekong River (Video Conference) and on 25 January 2022, hold a meeting forum for expressing opinions and disseminating study results.
