The 2nd National Moth Week, 2024 in Wetland, MSU On December 19, 2024, 5:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., the Walai Rukhavej Botanical Research Institute at Mahasarakham University and MSU Birding Club held its 2nd National Moth Week 2024 event, aligning with a global initiative where entomologists come together to raise awareness about moths, their ecological importance, and the threats they face. The event took place at the Kud Daeng Wetlands, Ban Kerng Field Station, Mueang District, Maha Sarakham Province, led by Dr. Nakorn Pradit, faculty members of the Biodiversity Program at Walai Rukhavej Botanical Research Institute. They shared their expertise on moths and other nocturnal insects with students from, biodiversity students, and interested participants. The event attracted over 40 participants.
