In 2022, Mahasarakham University surveyed and collected hazardous waste which includes chemicals from the laboratory, expired chemicals, other wastes from the laboratory, light bulbs, batteries, etc. All of these will be properly and legally disposed of. The division of Buildings and Grounds of university, dispose of deteriorated and used chemicals from the laboratory. Fiscal year 2022, on 22 August 2022. The university has managed to ensure that no hazardous waste is contaminated into water sources by Mahasarakham University activities.
