Have a policy on reducing plastic waste on campus
Mahasarakham university has the policy on plastic waste reduction for every department under the responsibility of Division of Buildings and Grounds follow the 3 Rs steps (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle). Every organization on campus have their policy to take care the plastic waste in their area.
For example, Academic Resource Center has their policies including
1. 3 Rs steps on waste reduction
2. The separation on waste by trash can before sending to the waste bank
3. Support and promote the events in waste separation
4. Use the fabric bag instead of plastic bag
5. Reduction the use on foam food container and the plastic glass and water bottle
6. Make food waste to the fertilizer
