Support or organise events aimed to promote conservation and sustainable utilisation of the land, including forests and wild land
The following budget and policy will be implemented by Mahasarakham University (MSU) in 2022 to support the initiatives of sustainable land utilization at Walai Rukhavej Botanical Research Institute (WRBRI) :
I. The project of land development for organic rice, herb, and crop production at WRBRI is carried out by MSU in collaboration with the Earth Safe Foundation for the sustainable use of the land (started 2021-present)
II. On September 7, 2022, in WRBRI, MSU organized International Day of Biological Diversity 2022 and an exhibition of the Royal Initiation of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (RSPG) project. Khok Dong Kheng forest at WRBRI. These occasions included exhibits and activities that increased the awareness of locals and primary school students. There are 108 participants in these competitions.
III. On April 1, 2022, in WRBRI, MSU organized activity RSPG project. 15 people are involved in activities to eliminate, collect garbage and create fire lines around the Forest.
