The 20-year national water resources strategic plan (2018-2038) by Office of the National Water Resources, Thailand is divided into practice agencies related to 5 Ministries, namely the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Ministry of Digital Economy and Society and Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), with Mahasarakham University as one of them.
Mahasarakham University, in collaboration with the Office of National Water Resources and ONWR, 2022. grant support project research in water resources planning for MSU in 2020- 2021 and extent to 2022. In 2022, Mahasarakham University’s staff receipt project research in namely, Environmental Impact Assessment and Monitoring Project on Cross Borders from Hydroelectric Power Projects in the Mekong River by grant year 2022 to continue project.
