This project is part of CP All's commitment to increasing green spaces, promoting sustainability, and maintaining the natural balance in Thailand, with a target of 1 million trees by 2025. In this time, more than 10,000 trees were planted, with support from CP All Public Company Limited, in the forest area of the Nadun Operations Station. all of which are beneficial to the ecosystem and help reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Mahasarakham university (faculty of science and WRBRI) conducting research to maintain and extend existing ecosystems and biodiversity in Thailand<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2024, Mahasarakham University\u2019s staff has published several research articles related to the research project of flora and fauna biodiversity and their ecosystems, such as more than 4 species discovery a new species of Curcuma from Thailand in 2024 by Diversity of Family Zingiberaceae and Vascular Plant for Its Applications Research Unit of Mahasarakham University, we expert perspectives on global biodiversity loss and its drivers and impacts on people. More than 3 articles publication by staff\u2019s MSU in Web of Science (ISI and Scopus database) as list following: 1. Curcuma sumonii sp. nov., and C. wanchaii sp. nov. (Zingiberaceae), two new taxa of Curcuma subgen. Curcuma from Thailand Sci Rep 14, 27541 by &nbsp;Saensouk, P., Saensouk, S., Boonma, T. et al. (2024) 2. A Horticultural Gem Unveiled: Curcuma peninsularis sp. nov. (Zingiberaceae), a New Species from Peninsular Thailand, Previously Misidentified as Curcuma aurantiaca Zijp. Horticulturae, 10(9), 950 by Saensouk, Piyaporn et al. &nbsp;(2024) 3. Curcuma roseobracteata sp. nov. (Zingiberaceae), a new species from Thailand and distribution notes on the recently described Curcuma suraponii Boonma.
