{"id":1025,"date":"2025-11-06T15:46:39","date_gmt":"2025-11-06T08:46:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/walai.msu.ac.th\/eng\/?page_id=1025"},"modified":"2025-11-10T16:10:06","modified_gmt":"2025-11-10T09:10:06","slug":"15-2-4-educational-programmes-on-ecosystems-3","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/walai.msu.ac.th\/eng\/?page_id=1025","title":{"rendered":"15.2.4 Educational programmes on ecosystems"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Mahasarakham University<\/strong><strong> organize an event <\/strong><strong>educational programme on ecosystem in 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On December 15, 2024, Walairukhavej Botanical Research Institute (WRBRI) organized the \"SGIUS UBU-KKU-MSU Networking Camp\" (3rd\/2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was attended by Grade 10 students from the Science Giftedness and Integrated Ubiquitous Learning System (SGIUS) program, which partners with centers at Mahasarakham University (MSU), Khon Kaen University (KKU), and Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This camp was held to build strong relationships among SGIUS students from the partner centers in the Northeast region, strengthen networking and cooperation among students, lecturers, and staff, and promote integrated learning in science, technology, and local arts and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The participants gained knowledge and experience through three engaging activity stations, led by expert speakers from the Walairukhavej Botanical Research Institute, who imparted knowledge and skills:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Traditional Dessert Making: Learning the methods for making local desserts and tasting the delicious results.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Herbal Compress Ball Making: Sharing traditional wisdom for natural health care.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Natural Dyeing: Learning the creative process of making local fabrics using natural colors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the structured learning activities, students had the opportunity to exchange experiences with new friends from various areas, creating fond memories and developing teamwork skills. Walairukhavej Botanical Research Institute (WRBRI) participated in the National Science Week 2024 exhibition, themed 'Science for Life and Society (BCG),' held from August 16\u201318, 2024, in room SC2-103. Walairukhavej Botanical Research Institute (WRBRI), Mahasarakham University, and the Demonstration School of Mahasarakham University (Secondary Division) organized the \"SCI-MED Scientific Practical Skills Training Project\" on July 19, 2024, at the Ban Koeng Field Station, WRBRI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project aimed to provide students with practical learning regarding the local ecosystem, including the natural learning resources of the wetlands and the Bung Pa Tham forest, the utilization of the forest, the identification of important trees in the area, and the study of the diversity of aquatic animals and organisms inhabiting the Kud Daeng wetlands.
